Valley Ridge Farm offers three different weeks of summer day camp during the months of June and July. Beginners through advanced riders learn basic horsemanship skills and horse care. Campers become familiar with horse anatomy, elementary minor horse ailments, saddling horses, shoeing, showing, and show etiquette through classroom discussion, demonstrations by professionals, and practical experience. Campers are always under the careful supervision by trained counselors.
